Writing is one of my many hobbies. My first failed book was in grade 7 when I tried to write a novel about horses, which is an odd choice considering I’m VERY allergic to horses. I think the main character was Rose? But I digress.

I currently write dark cozy mysteries about suspicious people, questionable decisions, and animals who like to talk.

When I'm not writing, I'm probably overthinking something, talking to my animals as though they can understand me (I think they can), walking dogs, or starting a new hobby. I’m thinking of trying calligraphy.

I live in Alberta, where I spend much of my time appreciating nature and wondering whether the local wildlife is judging me.

They probably are.

My books combine mystery, magical realism, dark humour, and the important question: what if the animals could actually tell us what happened?

Unfortunately, they have opinions.
